This guide explains how to breed all dragons in the game. Please note that these are not the only working combinations to breed these dragons. There are often multiple ways of breeding the same dragon. This guide gives the fastest possible working combination (unless the chances of breeding the dragon are significantly lower using the faster combination). These are not guaranteed combinations. You may get a different dragon than you intend to using these combinations, but for some dragons, you cannot get a 100% success rate.

This was requested by JeremyMoerbeek. It was quite fun drawing her. I love the way she turned out and the look in her eyes. Please down't mind the random almost invisible line and teh drak spots. As you know I'm relatively new to this game. But here's how I'm trying to make a set-up that includes at least one of every dragon while being best set up for income.

So first, then, let's write out the habitats (large):

Earth: 2000 Gold, 4 Dragons
Fire: 25000 Gold, 4 Dragons
Water: 50000 Gold, 3 Dragons
Plant: 20000 Gold, 4 Dragons
Electric: 6000 Gold, 4 Dragons

Now I'm going to want more dragons in a habitat because it means faster income. So even though water has a max of 50,000, it only holds three dragons. So the income speed is less. So I'm going to rank habitats with this priority rating:

Keeping this in mind, let's now list the dragons in order of income. I'll use the level 1 income data because it appears income is consistent and the ratio stays the same as they level.

Now that I have the dragons listed with their elements to the left and income to the right, I want to put each dragon in the best habitat for that particular dragon. I won't count legendary dragons. Here's what I end up with:

As you can see, we have a lot of non-full habitats here. We don't want that. So what I'll do is start with the lowest priority habitat (earth) and put the lowest earth-income dragons from the list (going from the bottom up) and add them into the list. Then I'll repeat with the next lowest, electric. And go up in the priority list until I have the best set up I can have. Here's my result:

Now at this point, to get max income, we'll use the remaining habitat space with:

Dark Habitat: Hedgehog, Hedgehog, Hedgehog, Hedgehog (okay, so Poo is actually a better choice, but who wants to fill up the islands with crap?!)

And we will use x4 Dark Boost and x4 Earth Boost with these to get a +160% boost. This will be the best possible income in the game with habitat max income considered (we can do a little better using armadillo and metal but I like the 80,000 max over the 30,000 one).

This isn't really some guaranteed best set-up. Remember, I'm new, so I'd love if you guys would post some improvements you can make to this set up if possible .

Hi everyone,

 

As was discussed in my last announcement regarding new staff members (which you guys seem to be against), I have been thinking about a plan for DCC that would greatly expand it.

 

The idea is that we can support many games as opposed to just Dragon City.

 

My plan is to turn this forum into a list, in alphabetical order, of games. And in each section, we can have an entire forum of its own (categories and sections) that pertain to each game. Associated with this I can make a series of websites that have information for each game. They'll all be connected to the main website and be sub-sites of it. For example, www.domain.com would be our domain, and www.domain.com/dragoncity would be the Dragon City site. In it would be all of our information about Dragon City, and a link to this forum that has the entire Dragon City forum (just like it is right now!). But we could support as many games as we want to support.

 

Each forum within this forum would have its own theme that's more related to the particular game as well.

 

This idea would allow us to have high quality information for every game and blow away the competition.

 

Now for some pros vs. cons:

 

PROS:

 

1. We don't have to rely so much on Dragon City. If Dragon City falls, the site won't fall.

2. We'll have a lot more activity (who likes dead sites?)

3. People will have one centralized location to get information about any game he or she likes, instead of having to go to all kinds of different sites.

4. It would be a great way to introduce people to new games (in a more high-quality way as opposed to our competition).

 

CONS:

 

1. We'll need a better server. (No worries, I have that covered).

2. We'll need a lot more staff members (perhaps a 'leader' for each game forum on here). We can take care of that!

3. We'll have lots of competition (but we'll destroy all the competition, too ).

4. Quality will be sacrificed for each game because we have so many. No, that's not a con. We won't let that happen! It's a goal to ensure we have the same quality as we have now for DCC.

 

Do you all like the idea? Vote in the poll. If you think it's good but changes should be made, feel free to discuss the changes. If you don't understand the plan, I will try to explain better.

 

If you do like the idea, propose an idea for a domain name for our new site. If this poll shows that you want to go through with this, we'll then have a poll to determine which domain name gets picked (and the person who picked that domain name will be rewarded, in some way. Still need to figure that out).

Dragon City is a pretty laggy game. I've come to learn that using Google Chrome browser is much better for the game experience - much less lag and much better performance.

I suggest you use your default browser (whichever you use) for browsing, but use Google Chrome for the game itself.
