Well my strategy is that when your battle screen loads up you look up the dragon on search i.e if your enemy was a cloud dragon you would search in cloud dragon city and you find the link that says dragoncity.wikia.
click on it and you will see everything immunities strengths and even weaknesses.
USE THIS TO YOUR ADVANTAGE!
Do this on all of your battles and your sure to have a victory almost everytime.
Tip: Always bring a flaming rock dragon as it is the best overall protected.

Blizzard is good for newcomers too. On later levels, it's good to switch to something with a higher HP, like gold/gummy/cool fire.

the problem with blizzard is that its weakness is one of its habitats the flaming rock does not have any downsides like it

How about Legendary Dragons. Train Legendary Dragons with Legend Spell or Aurora Borealis or both of the techniques.

A level 28 legend-type dragon is already strong enough to withstand a one-hit kill from a level 30 legendary dragon. It leaves it with 60hp, after which you can finish him off with a legend spell.

A level 18 Dragon can defeat a level 30 legendary with 3 bronze -3 silver ranks or with a legend spell. doesn't leave any hp left.

I used Blizzard when I was around level 10. Then switched to Armadillo, Cool Fire and Pirate in my current level. I also use some threads here about the weakness so I won't falter. XD

Well now when I battle I only use 2 dragons :
LEGENDARY DRAGON = level 30 3 gold star

That's why there are only I use because when I fight and I am the first I can kill 1 dragon so 2 dragons left then will attacked me ( sure I will not be killed ) then I will attack again dead 1 more dragon then my first dragon will be dead my second dragon will attack the last enemy and tadah done

Flaming Rock only has 3K Hp, it could easily get 1 hit.

My level 21, 3 gold star, fully trained Pure Dark usually destroys 3 dragons by himself. My 3 gold star level 15 chameleon isn;t too bad either. My strongest are obviously my high level Legends and Pure Elementals. I', just going to settle in and feed, level up, train, and fight until full rank, one at a time. That's the plan...
