@  Walcha18 : (25 July 2014 - 12:28 AM) ... or the Levels.
@  Walcha18 : (25 July 2014 - 12:16 AM) I did not want to write the surname here.
@  Walcha18 : (25 July 2014 - 12:15 AM) It was a full name but spelt Rachel ...
@  Rachael : (25 July 2014 - 12:15 AM) No it would have my full name because it's attached to my facebook profile
@  Rachael : (25 July 2014 - 12:12 AM) oh combat world lol
@  Rachael : (25 July 2014 - 12:12 AM) what is CW?
@  Walcha18 : (25 July 2014 - 12:11 AM) I just met and demolished a Rachel xxx in the League and thought of you!
@  Rachael : (25 July 2014 - 12:10 AM) what?
@  Walcha18 : (25 July 2014 - 12:06 AM) Q: in C W are you Rachel xxx?
@  Rachael : (25 July 2014 - 12:04 AM) I haven't driven it. My parents got enough power in it to drive it to the shop and back home and it's been sitting in the driveway charging ever since. I put the club on it though
@  Walcha18 : (25 July 2014 - 12:03 AM) Add just a little anyway to be sure, otherwise you could have engine problems.
@  Rachael : (25 July 2014 - 12:03 AM) you'd be surprised
@  Walcha18 : (25 July 2014 - 12:02 AM) Ye, but how many would have your model and a placard?
@  Rachael : (25 July 2014 - 12:01 AM) no way to check without a dip stick
@  Walcha18 : (25 July 2014 - 12:01 AM) Maybe you should check the level.
@  Walcha18 : (25 July 2014 - 12:01 AM) Maybe they were trying to siphon the oil, too.
@  Rachael : (25 July 2014 - 12:00 AM) There's no way to know if it's mine unless I remembered the number on it which I don't
@  Walcha18 : (25 July 2014 - 12:00 AM) The dipstick is pretty amazing!
@  Walcha18 : (24 July 2014 - 11:58 PM) Keep an eye out especially for your placard; this would stand out.
@  Rachael : (24 July 2014 - 11:58 PM) yeah I'm just glad they didn't steal my parking pass and I got a new handicap placard today. If they get caught using my old one they'll go to prison

So, the idea im pitching is Virtaul Dragon City Trading Cards for use on Dragon City Central.

The idea is that we add cards of the Dragon City dragons to the DCC site. The cards would be available to purchase using dragon city credits

Basic Example Card. (Made by Devin)

*Edit by Devin* I used a Pokemon card layout off of Google, if we go threw with this i will make an original card.

Awesome idea! I'm definitely for it. We just need to work out the specifics for it. We likely would have to code in an entire system for the game which would take some time, and then we would need you designers making the cards :).

Me and the other designers could probably get this done pretty quickly, I could make a template and post it for the other designers to use so everything matches and multiple people can work on it.

Devin if you post a template I can work on some of the cards.

Just divide the cards up and give each designer their dragon list.

Also, make sure to keep a blank template. Dragons seem to be added frequently.

@Ashley,

I'm still working out the specifics. I can rant about what it would be like, but I want to be worded neatly so I'm still working that out. I will post the specifics (My idea, can be modified) when I feel I've got everything in order.

@Qwark, Once we work out the specifics as Ashley said, then I will most likely do exactly that

Then great, I will post details later tonight.

First thing that should be established about this TCG (Trading card game) is what types of cards that it should have.

It is my idea that game should contain five (5) types of cards.
  • Dragons
  • Habitats
  • Restoration
  • Support
  • Food
The Dragon cards are very basic, you start of by summoning your baby dragon, and through using food your baby dragon card can be replaced with its teen / adult dragon card.

The Habitats offer a variety of effects. Small habitats enhance or weaken the the dragons of the person who played the habitat, while a large habitat effects both players.

Restoration cards are used as a mean for restoring a players lost HP

Support cads are used to summon a wider variety of Dragons, as well as buff up a single dragon. Using Breeding mountain you can summon all types of hybrids. Ultra breeding tree will allow you to summon them sooner. Using Earth boosts and all other types of boosts you can make a single dragon in play stronger.

and Lastly food, which is used to level up dragons.

Secondly the game is played with two players who each start with 8000 Health, once one competitors health reaches 0 they have lost.

Each player has three phases before the other players turn begins.

A Summon Phase : Obviously where you summon a dragon.
A Support Phase : Where you either use buffs or summon a hybrid (can not be done during your first turn)
A Battle Phase : Where you choose to attack your opponents dragon.

Also a person hand can never exceed five cards.

Okay, I've completely drew a blank so uhm. If you need more info I will try to figure more things out.,

The cards should contain all the attacks the dragon has.

Baby dragons will only know a simple variant of their type and a basic attack.

Eg.

Ember / Tackle
Pebble Throw / Scratch
Spark / Bite

etc...

Hey dev i could work on the drags as well

And Qwark maybe as a suggestion we could add 1 more card to the set like there could be a normal adult dragon or it could molt past that and turn into a immaterial/phaseseth form dragon that has more hp more damage and 1 different attack i could make those cards if we need them to be made just a suggestion though

ps immaterial/phaseseth cards can not be played over an adult a teen must either be chosen to be made into an adult or the immaterial/phaseseth

It's a really good suggestion.

But then how do we battle?

This is a feature we will code into the site. It will be a rather big project. Until that is finished, we will probably just have members collecting the cards for use later in the game.
